Damn I have more pics but it limits to only 2 pics.
The previous post I have the aluminium box. How it works is that I got that box fabricated and a flex pipe is directly connected to the outlet of the stock air box. Using a K&N drop in and I don't lose any low end but rather get some high end due to the ram air effect. By the way after installation, I close up 1/3 (so you can't see the hole of the flex pipe) and it acts a bit like a 1/2 opened shoe box, capturing the air and forcing it into the stock air box. The flex pipe is only about 1 feet long, thus not as restrictive as the stock resonator. Our engines are very similar, and we can learn a lot from each other.
I have done the following to my car, but just can't post so many pics! damn.
1) Front strut tower bar
2) rear lower tie
3) 4 point mid brace
4) front lower tie
5) VTTR racing 6 pot 303mm rotors, was on JBT 4 pots with 330mm slotted rotors
6) Stainless steel braided hoses
7) Progress rear sway bars - endlinks on the way!!!
8) BC coilovers - I think they are rebranded Megan racings, or rather it is the other way round, ie megan is a rebranded BC coilovers.
www.bcec.com.tw (I love their English too! Taiwanese company.
9) Hondata gasket (coolant bypass)
10) Bored my own throttle body, intake runners, and intake manifold. Makes the engine sound louder and more aggressive, and some gains felt. butt dyno.
11) hi flo cat, 4-1 super dynamics stainless steel header.
12) Operated muffler. The exhaust shop cuts all all the crap from the stock muffler and welds on a straight pipe in there, and stuff it with silent sports cotton to muffle the sound. Car sounds bassy and deep, but not loud at all.
13) Car is in workshop, getting AFC neo installed and tuned. Hope it works. Very desperate...
by the way, D2 racing makes coilovers too for our ride and I just tested one...it is awesome....you guys should be able to get those with pillow ball mounts for about $900 USD or $1000 USD at most.
