Best bet for getting some real savings would be to buy a few year old, just make sure it's still the HCH II and you should be good. I paid $16k for my accord hybrid as a 2005 january this year, which reflects 1/2 of retail. I am getting 35 mpg on the highway, compared to my wife's 38 mpg highway in her HCH II (but it is still breaking in, getting ready for the first oil change)
