I am still on the path of how to create stuff. Well I got a wonderful idea well looking into building my computer case. We could use acrylic sheets to form a airtight box around the filter. Acrylic is easy to work with, cheap, and looks slick ass snot. You can buy a 2'x2' sheet of 1/8 acrylic for say $15 and the apoxy (wich basically welds the acrylic together) for another $10. Plus it is a super dense, heat resistant plastic. Wich would mean less heat soak.
They also make tubing (wick isnt hard to bend at all). So ahh if anyone is still pondering this there is some more info for ya.

The only way to test it out would be to do a comparison with a stock airbox, an aftermarket intake and a ram air intake at a track, either at a dragstrip or road course.
