I would, but I believe there is another thread stickied somewhere that deals with recalls, TSBs, and other concerns.
I mainly put this thread together for those who own other Honda vehicles who may want to see what kind of things Honda has going on with their vehicles.
The Honda Service News Bulletins address things not severe enough to be TSB or recall warranted, but are nonetheless very important to have done if your car is affected.
For example, January 2007 was the Service Bulletin that informed technicians to swap out the old manual transmission fluid for the new, reformulated stuff when they had a customer complaining of notchy gears.
As consumers, we're not likely supposed to have these bulletins, but I know that myself and others have had our MTF changed under warranty thanks in no small part to the uploaded Service News Bulletin. For me, browsing through these publications lets me see what kind of things Honda is doing to their vehicles and allows me to get things done that I might not otherwise be able to.
With the third gear issue, I've been complaining about it for almost a year and a half now, and the only time (outside of the first time I had it replaced thanks to the bulletin), my dealership even KNEW about that was when I handed it to them. My experience with Honda has shown me that if you want anything done to your car in terms of warranty work (and it's a global problem),
YOU need to be the one that does the research and the digging. This site has proven invaluable in aiding so many of us in rallying together for problems, and I hope this just adds to it.
