8th Generation Honda Civic Forum - View Single Post - Since everyone has that 3rd gear issue, why is there no recall?

I just picked up my car from the shop yesterday after it was sitting at honda for 2 weeks. i have 6400 miles on my car...here is what they did (straight from the invoice):
- Gear set, second
- Gear set, 3rd
- Fork, 1st and 2nd
- bearings
- sleeve set
- MT fluid

and this is what they wrote:
" Test drove vehicle and found not shifting properly 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd....remove and open trans and found 2nd, 3rd AND 4th synchro sleeve dmged. Replace 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear synchros. Replace 1st to 2nd and main bearing from 4th to 5th"
