its not gonna stall when the rpms are above 700rpms i think your good. your steering only failed because the car was off lol. and even then if your car did stall at lets say 40mph plus. you'd be able to steer no problem. lots of cars dont have power steering and although it does suck when the car is under 5mph being tough to steer you can do it just fine at a decent speed. its harder for a power steering car to steer once the system fails at low speeds cuz we have all the extra crap associated with power steering. but above 5-10mph you would be able to steer just fine.
