It seems to happen in waves, like a long period with nothing then all of a sudden it'll happen 6 times - followed by another quiet period.
Hell, maybe they inspire each other I don't know.
One thing's for sure though, the way the school's handle that shit is nothing to be proud of. I remember being told in High School that if anyone with a gun ever opened fire they'd come over the PA and tells us to lock the doors, turn off the lights, and hide under our desks. That was their big plan. Honestly, if anything ever happened I'd have thrown a damn desk through a window and climbed out.
