Im pretty sure the MAS can only go in one way, but I'll check. No I didnt have the code read, because I've heard that having someone like Azone plug into the ECU or whatever they hook up to read the code can void the warranty. Dont know if that true or not, and im avoiding the dealer because I don't want them voiding my warranty either. As for the filter when I was installing it I kept screwing the clamp so tight it would make the filter come off, so I wiped away the oil off of the rubber and didn't tighten it down so tight to make it pop off, but its on there good. I can look down by the battery and see it's still on there. If there was an air leak somewhere would I be able to hear it? It sounds very quiet at idle. Thanks for the replies.
It won't void your warranty to have the code read. The dealer won't even know you had an OBDII reader hooked up to it. The reader just plugs into a port under the steering wheel and just reads the CEL code. When disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery for 15mins+, you are clearing all of those codes.
