As for the car being too expensive. The tax in Illinois for a car is about $1,400 on it's own plus $140 or so on plates. There are a few other fees that every dealer would of charged so they're legit. It's not like the car itself cost $6,000 more.
Also, did you get an automatic transmission or manual? Did your price include the destination fee like mine? I worked on getting a Civic EX for a few months and this is by far the best deal I'd be able to find anywhere within the area.

apparently your warranty is through your dealer and not through HOA?
HondaCare is bumper to bumper for up to 8 years/120k. I paid $915 for an 8 year/120k bumper to bumper warranty with $0 deductible online for my '08 Si.
the prices on the accessories seem ok, but you got hosed in the warranty.
I put $4k down on my Si (total 22,040 OTD), and am paying about $330/month on a 5 year @ 2.9%. (hell yeah for good credit)
