DIY I-VTEC DOHC install

Things you will need.

1 Spray bottle (1 part soap to 20 parts water)
1 Squidgy
1 microfiber rag
1 roll painter's tape
1 Isopropyl alcohol (optional)

Start off by cleaning the area of application w/ either the soap/water mixture or isopropyl alcohol (I used the soap/water since mine was really clean as the skirts were brand new and have never seen wax) using your microfiber rag. Wipe clean.

Next, align the decals on the sideskirt lining it up by the marked spots on the transfer paper that's attached to the decal. Once happy with it, stick painter's tape on the top of each side (make sure it sticks really good as these are important for alignment).

Fold up the decal with the transfer paper still attached in order to lubricate with soapy water.

Spray the soapy water underneath where the piece is to go. You don't need a ton, just a normal amount.

Peel off the paper backing and don't allow to drop.

Once all the paper backing is removed, bring it back down to begin application.
Start at the top center and work your way out/down with the squidgy working the water and bubbles out from beneath the emblem. The transfer paper isn't supposed to stick all that well, so just worry about the actual emblem.

Once everything looks good and stuck, work from one side to the other (I prefer back to front) keeping the transfer paper against the car almost like you're rolling it to keep it from pulling off the decal. You may need to hold down the beginning edge as it likes to try to come back up. After you make it past that, it shouldn't come up, but still keep the transfer paper close to the body.

At this point, clean the area w/ the microfiber towel. If you want, you may still squidgy the decal to make sure it's good, but if you use a plastic one like I used, make sure you wrap the microfiber towel around it so that you don't scratch your paint.

No bubbles

And that's it. Do the other side the same way.
