My dealership told me when I gave them the Amsoil to put in that [quote] "This transmission fluid is not recommended." They have a state of the art showroom and computer system, and always treat me politely, but they are either a bunch of ignorant bozos who don't bother to keep up on their bulletins or are being deliberately disingenious. I'd like an official link to a Honda-sponsored/affiliated site which states unequivocally that Amsoil is most certainly recommended.
Oh and BTW it's been 6 weeks since I put the Amsoil in and not one single grind or pop-out, and this during some pretty nasty cold spells (Florida). It still does feel a bit notchy sometimes but I wonder if that is because my "aim" as I move the lever into the 3rd slot isn't always perfect. 3rd has always been smooth as butter on a downshift (heel and toeing/rev matching helps).
