DEI is awesome too, I must say. I've personally always used their systems. I also had the 3.5RSX on my last car, and I have an Avital 4400 2-way alarm/remote starter on my Si. I live in Ohio, so I did install both of those WITH the remote starter (for obvious reasons)
507t (tilt sensor)- cool i guess... but by the time someone is tilting your car enough to tow it or jack it up to put it on blocks, your shock sensor should have triggered the alarm.
508d (microwave proximity sensor)- can't stand them. Usually I only put those on wranglers and convertibles because they really don't have a choice. The problem with prox sensors is that the two radar zones (inner and outer) are affected by many factors, such as surrounding mass (whether or not other cars are parked within a few feet, parking in a garage, etc), weather variables, etc etc etc... So what happens is that if the zones are set inside my install bay but the car is usually parked outside, the zones could easily be off by a few feet. Not good.
Personally, adding tons of sensors only increases false alarms. And yes, I've installed them all, and I do know how to properly set them. I like my alarm to be fairly simple: hood pin and trunk pin (tapping into factory pins preferably), door pins, shock sensor, starter kill, ignition trigger. I also enjoy a good window automation (530t) now and then.
Just some food for thought...
