I have an '08 Si. Just have a 1-car garage so it is small and maybe that has something to do with it, but when I park my car after coming home from a drive, especially one that involves me hitting VTEC - I notice what seems to be a burning smell of some sort, like a really hot oven or a slight rubber burning smell - coming from the engine. Didn't notice this on my previous Civic.

Everything seems fine and not getting any weird reads on the temp guage. I've looked and I can't find anything like a burning hose or wire but maybe I need to look harder. Is this just the way a K20 is? Does the exhaust manifold get flaming hot or something like that? Or is this not normal for this car.
