I've heard the premium for paid for hybrid over the regular version is greater than the savings from less gas. But that was at least a year ago and may not be true anymore. Either way it's still a more advanced car than the regular version and as with all technologies, it will be outdated but you should just be happy that you have a great hybrid now and get better fuel economy than 99% of the cars on the road today
