Hahah this is the first time I noticed this sticky and I have just noticed this last night too! Well my drinks have always been fine, but the plastic around the transmission (AT) got really warm last night (i thought maybe it was the light-up?) and only the left/driver's side. Also the air crank button ad maybe the temp button too got hot last night.

When I go in for my oil eventually, I will get the dealer to check it out along with the rattle, among others!
