First of all, do not pull the pin out from the top of the pedal. I made that mistake and a small spring went flyinging out and cannot for the life of me get it back in there. On the bottom backside of the pedal there is some sort of clip. I'm not exactly sure which way to push it because in my struggle I pretty much destroyed it, but I did have to pull the pedal pretty hard to get it out.

Sorry that probably doesnt really help any. I'll try to take a picture in the morning, that will probably give you an idea of how the clip works.
I got the spring back in, took 10 mins of trying to line the pin, spring and hole up. Tons of cursing that it wasn't as easy as the directions said (eg they were way off), and that I kept missing or dropping the spring. The accelerator pedal comes off easy if you remove that one pin. From there you take some needle nose pliers and straighten the pins. Then you slide a screwdriver under it and pop it off.

The other two pedals, I tried cutting the pins from the back. Tried popping and prying. The only way I got them off was the grinding head on a dremel. Took 45 mins to get the clutch pedal off before I essentially cut it off. The brake pedal, 1 min grinding the pins from the top.
