alternatively if you have standard in case you dont know you can start your car if your battery is dead and still has barely enough energy to ignite the spark plugs with momentum.
all you do is put the car in 2nd gear, press the cluth down, turn the key to the ON position, give your car about a 5 MPH push then you can either rapidly release your cluth ( bad on transmission) or you can slowly release the clutch. the car should start, if no cigar then your out of luck because your battery doesn't even have enough energy to get the spark plugs ignited. time to get a new battery, and a ride.
if your short on space you can use 1st gear but thats bad for the transmission.
