We have had a few customers contact us regarding the blue plastic cup removal during the installation of the
short shifter. It seems that some people have had issues removing the cup and have damaged it in the process.
We have designed a special installation tool to simplify removal of the cup and to prevent any damage to the cup. We have revised the installation manual to show step by step how to use the special tool, as well as how to remove the console for the base bushings install.
