Umm, yes I did use the clips, if you look close you can see the head of the clip and even the clips itself through some of the pics. I wouldn't just use the tape because I don't think they'd be sturdy enough. Plus, for theft purposes the clips would probably cause the visors to break if they were "yanked off".
