It's been verified that
version 6.62 still works with the splash-screen swap.
The instructions are virtually the same for 2007 models (v6.55 & 6.56) and can be found
here.
ATTENTION Non-U.S. and Acura folks:
I believe I've figured out the procedure to update anyone's splash screen, regardless of your version number or DVD country region.
If you:
- are still interested in changing your splash screen;
- have a DVD version other than 6.11, 6.55, 6.56, and 6.62;
- have a DVD country other than North America and Southern Canada;
- have an Acura;
- just need general assistance;
