I don't see why stupid high miles isn't possible running a little leaner. As long as there is no dumbassery involved like driving the car like it's stolen on a hot day while detonating (half of the people complaining about a/f ratios probably don't know what that means) all over the place, there shouldn't be a problem.

If someone beats the crap out of their car every chance they get, a/f ratio probably won't save the motor from giving out before 200K miles anyway.
