My car falls out of the VIN range as well. My dealership told me they wouldn't do anything with the car unless they could get the problem to repeat itself with one of the service tech's watching. Apparently my car didnt act up that day and i didnt get it done. But there is something definately wrong when you shift at like 2.5k and the rpms jump to like 3k, dont ya think? They started to give me some BS like "Sir, you car has a rather large flywheel so a momentary hang like what you describe is normal" Oh well, it was a total waste of time, I got my sun visors replaced and a free car wash
. I am going back again to get the hang issue resolved sometime this month. I seriously think more dealerships should poke around these forums, to get some ideas of what issues people are facing. I know whenever i call my sales guy with a problem, he always asks me what forum i saw my issue on, for reference.
