There are apparently 14 different species (yes many people used the word species) of what are considered "Darwin's finches" currently. 13 of which reside on the Galapagos islands. They eat different things. With your logic there is only 1 type of finch there because all of the rest would have died out. If Darwin observed a change in these birds then why does everyone say it takes millions of years? Is it not possible that he just couldn't find these other birds?
