I am not saying you are wrong or that I am right...just that it doesn't make sense to me at least
Well the engine is making no power lol. The computer knows that the cars gearing and speed can keep the engine spinning, so why keep adding fuel when the wheels are spinning the engine?

Now what bugs me is that when I push the pedal all the way to the ground and I'm at WOT, the MPG reads 9999 and my HP reads 0.0

It's really strange. If I accelerate slowly, it'll keep up with both the HP and MPG. the highest HP rating I've gotten is 135 (R18 auto)

anybody else have this issue?

They must be using the open loop to gauge fuel shut off, cause the SG2 doesnt really know when the fuel shuts off. See when you go into fuel shut off (technically DFCO deceleration fuel cut off) the cars computer goes into "open loop" meaning that the comp doens't look at any sensor data. The comp also goes into open loop when you floor it at HIGH rpms. Under normal driving conditions the comp is in closed loop, meaning it uses data from the sensors in its calculations.

Try this, add open/closed loop to the gauges. See if the GPH goes to 0.0 every time it goes to open lp. If yea, then that sucks and the SG2 ppl used the open/closed loop to gauge fuel shut off which is kinda lame.
