I just ordered the parts from ebay. I'll try to document the process and post it here later. Depends when I get the parts.
The trunk pop kit (solenoid) is made by DEI (makers of the Viper car alarm).
Part # 522T
For the relay, I ordered a Bosch 12V, 30A part.
