You should be able to squeeze 5,000 miles out of every oil change. And being that the car is relatively new, 5,000 miles is pretty much guaranteed. Also, someone who drives a lot in the city will have dirtier oil than someone who mostly drives highway at a certain mileage i.e. 3K.

RP is extremely high in sulfur and tends to thin earlier than standard oils. This means they are using a single universal base stock and then modifing that stock with addatives, and when those addtives are gone, the viscosity gets screwy.
In short, RP was probably the best oil for all out race cars. Cars that only go 500-1000 miles between rebuilds. In a street car, there are better options IMO.
