I give up!! If you just cut out the MAF housing and just cut any old angle on the vanes it's just not gonna work. The intake tube design means absolutely nothing. All you have to worry about is the air that passes over the MAF sensor. The purpose of the vanes is not to cut through the air better. It is to trick the car into thinking there is less air than there really is. Keeping the fuel the same and keeping the timing advanced. this produces a leaner burn and a more efficient burn which results in more power. Just cutting some random vanes and a smooth tube isn't gonna do anything. But if you guys think so all the power to ya. Good luck.
