I will never hit that number. If I were to hypermill, my Si would hate me, and I also did not buy it for fuel economy.
I picked up a street bike because I was paying your budget in gas in two weeks in my '03 Silverado SS. Paying 10 bucks a week vs. 75 was a huge improvement and I love riding street bikes. The only problem I had then was that I had a huge truck sitting in the garage that I was averaging about 3,000 miles a year in and drove it mostly because I felt sorry for it sitting there. Now with the Civic Si I have alot more room in the garage and get 24 mpg rather than 12 in the SS. I do miss the truck and had a lot of money in it but I dont mind it being gone. I wonder if hypermiling will help on my CBR 600rr?!lol
