Thanks for all the positive feedback!
At 43, my 2 teenage girls have recognized that I AM the biggest kid in the house. But I am one of the smartest and most responsible.
I could have revved out all the gears and got it close to 100mph or more, there was room, open road with no side streets feeding into the road we were on. Ideal street racing conditions. But the point is, that if something happened, others still could be involved who did not make the choice to race and have their lives in danger. I don't want that type of responsibility. Sometimes, being a quitter is a good thing.
There are many cars I could have purchased, I like this car because it should be reliable; it's fast and can be good on gas, handles great and looks good too.
I never thought I would live past 18 with the things I did when I was younger. And after 18, did more stuff that should have killed me and could have killed others. Not one of us invincible. Having someone to come home to made me realize that. Once you are gone, it may be a better place, but there is no coming back! Just think about it when you are going thru the gears, every time.
