is 5w-30 amsoil tranny fluid the best choise for the base model civic?

and also, i was planning just to shove in the full 2 quarts, and let some leak out while i put the bolt back on. so its not a full 2 quarts. a good idea?

let me know guys, thanks!

no. once you put in about 1.5 or 1.6 quarts, some of it will leak out. there isn't any possible way you could get the whole 2 quarts in unless you were to jack up only one side of your car.

I absolutely do not recommend this. fill the transmission until it is full, but don't overfill it!
