I asked this earlier and I'll ask again: Are you experiencing grinding regardless of RPM? I find that it will almost always grind if I shift too soon, and almost never if I shift too late. I'm also very careful to notice if it's not completely engaged, so I've never had it "pop out." The symptoms are almost like the synchros aren't doing their job.
Is this the same thing you're experiencing, or a milder imitation of it?
