It wasn't until earlier today that I saw the actual service bulletin with the VINs listed and mine was NOT in the range.

I'll say that again my SI was NOT covered under service bulletin 06-052!

I decided to go to the dealer anyway and see what they could do since I definitely WAS experiencing the problem. I even told them when I got there that my VIN was not in the listed range, but they said they'd check it out to be sure.

An hour and a half later (because they had to update their system with the new HDS version) I have what feels like a new car all over again. The PCM update did take, and the rev hang is almost completely gone. Driveability has improved greatly, it's so smooth now!

Cliffs: I have an SI NOT in the VIN range and the update did take and it DID fix the problem!

Well, I am going to call my dealer tomorrow to talk to them about this, I'm hoping i have the same luck as you got, because my vin # falls out of range as yours does, and I am going to absolutely FLIP THE *** OUT, if they dont do it, so hopefully they will, because i am DEFINETELY experiencing the rev hang, it hangs for atleast 2 seconds between shifting after the cluthc is depressed fully. Wish me luck!
