Edit: You didn't mention much about upgraded brake-lines...would a pair of stainless be worthwhile for a dd with some autocrossing? Or just stick to appropriate pads/fluid?

SS Lines are most beneficial when the stock lines are getting old and are flexing more than normal ... They basically help provide a bit better and firmer pedal feel.
So I do not look at them as being a vital upgrade, more of a nice to have. Just make sure that the SS braid comes lined/covered with some form or plastic/rubber/vinyl covering to keep dirt out of the braid were it will wear away the undelying material over time.
