You got overanxious. No force needed. Just a gently glide into gear.
When you are rough like that you are about to break something.
Like your synchros or worse.
As I said many times before, I think this is one of the smoothest shifting cars I have ever driven in a stick and I never had a misshift or hang or anything in any gear. Perhaps some of those tranny's came with bad synchros? Or maybe people are trying to slam these gears a little bit to roughly. Easy does it
