New Greasable Ball Joint End Links

Beware of the Heim Joint Style of End Link replacement. I had picked up a set of them and put them on my car at the same time as my HFP kit. They started out rough, with an occasional clunk and within 2 weeks got to the point where they just plain rattled over every little bump. I researched and found that all of the RSX guys are using Hotchkis End Links, so I found a set of those in stock at www.rennickmotorsports.com for $134 and picked them up Friday.

Friday night I started to do the install and couldn't get 2 of the nylock nuts off of the threaded shaft due to the rattling which caused one of them to strip out the threaded shafts that the nylock nut goes on to tighten the end links. The other rear one was just begining to strip. After hacksawing and nutbusting the bolts off I installed the new Hotchkis end links front and back and tested them.

The handling was the same, the ride was smoother and best of all they were silent. Highly recomended!!! Anyone who is considering or already has the Progress rear sway bar needs to put these on your short list.

Here is a couple of PICS.
