You'll be fine. I've left my old Eclipse for just over 5 weeks, with the alarm active) years ago when I had to go to Japan for business. Came back and it started right up. That was back in '95, and the Eclipse was only about 1 month old. Then while in Japan, I fell in love with the FTO and wished I could get one of those back in the states. This was well before I was a Honda guy.
One funny thing is that I had to "learn" how to shift again (it did come back within a few miles). When I first took off, I looked like someone driving a stick for the first time!
Yes, I did have a manual car, but that was way before my wife was ever around. Now it's automatics only!
