I've been waiting until I get a few more miles on my tranny before doing the swap. I too have a notchy feel on 2nd gear. GM Syncromesh seems to work real good and a bunch of other people from many different car forums have used it and loved it.

I've heard of Redline MTL being good, but needing more frequent replacement intervals. Heard some good things about Amsoil, but haven't been able to research it.

So far I'm leaning towards the Syncromesh too, unless anyone here can convince me why I shouldn't.
