Third gear is a little notchy but there isn't a problem with your car. That's how the car is designed. What you can do is granny shift like that wise guy who never grinds his third gear. You are lazy shifting. The travel from 2nd to 3rd is longer than from 1st to 2nd so it throws you off. Just pay more attention to your shifting and you should be good
