Personally, I wouldn't put GM Synchromess into my tranny. It's not the cure all off all ailments. What's wrong with the fluid that is in there now?
If I ever change the fluid which wont be for several years I will more than likely put in some Redline MTL which is hands down the best manual transmisson fluid out there. GM's stuff has a thicker base which may hide certain problems but will not help you in the performance of your transmission. I would say quite the contrary. But you can try it and let us know how you like it.
