I'm not so sure it is a synchro problem. So far I haven't grinded 3rd since installing the short shifter. Im really thinking it might just be "lazy" shifting. I've always driven manual trans. cars so its not like I'm not use to shifting but for some reason I have grinded 3rd a hell of alot more than any other car I've owned. I have gone a couple of weeks between grinding before installing the shifter so I'll see how it is now. I just installed the shifter about a week ago. I'll keep you updated...
