I don't know if the OP had mentioned this earlier, but people need to realize that different claybars should be used depending on the condition of the paint AND the color!! Granted, I am too lazy to do this myself and I am by no means a pro, but this advice came to me from my detail shop that has been in business for 27+ years. http://www.carcleanersdetailing.com/main.html
I had conversed with the owner in what they do to prep a car for sealing/waxing. He does claybar the vehicle, but he mentioned that he uses 6 different types depending on the color/condition of the paint. The Car Cleaners applied an acrylic sealant on my car and it was beautiful!!!!

P.S. If anyone lives in Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Gilbert area in AZ, THIS IS THE PLACE TO TAKE YOUR BABY!!
