MSRP for the up grade to get the XM radio to work through honda is like $489 plus labor. I have the instructions to install it and it is like 14 pages long. It looks like you have to take the entire dash board out. I believe the instructions say it should take about 5 hours. You know how much per hour a dealer charges. I bet it would end up costing $700 or more just to get your XM ready radio to work. I am thinking there has to be a better way. $700 I could buy a lot more than an XM radio out in town. I think Honda has lost their mind on this one. I am thinking that I can just get an after market one that I can also use in the house. Just not sure on what to get. I have been looking at an Pioneer inno. I thought it might just plug in and play. I have not yet got my hands on one to see if it will or not.
