Follow up: I installed the cable bushings last night.

Hardest part (believe it or not) was removal of the lower air box (I spent 75% of the time removing and re-installed that thing, a real PITA).

So far the bushings have a very solid feel - I like them!

Now for a rainy day to do the MTF change . . . .
