Scott, people give me crap all the time because I park so far away, but I am just paranoid about door dings. What really fries my behind is when I park waaaay away from everyone and some a$$hat parks right next to me even though there is an empty parking lot for them to park in. Persistent vigilance is important in protecting your car. My G35 is ding free because I always park far away whether at work or when shopping.
BTW Scott, your car looked sooooooo hot. That black paint looked so deep and had so much gloss to it. Rasky really did a great job. I have always loved your car and think that it embodies the performance and style of the Si.
