Abarab is right.

I've driven incredibly underpowered, manual, old, POS Saturns and Kias with cable throttles that have an immediate throttle response.

It isn't the lack of torque. If those cars can respond when you press the throttle then so should ours.

Tastycakes this isn't about hating on drive by wire. This is about hating on our car's LAG because of how our drive by wire is. There are plenty of drive by wire Hondas that don't have that stupid throttle lag we have and actually respond when the throttle is pressed.
