i have an aem cai. my intake hose was pushing the radiator hose with out the spacer. with the spacer it adds like another inch. i just went to advanced auto and got a rubber radiator hose. you may not need it. most people with cai's wil need a new hose because its rubbing and you dont wanna heat up your intake hose.
