they were hooking people up. the 60GB PS3 is the best deal out there because of the PS2 backwards compatibility. if you dont care about the backwards compatibility the 40Gb which came out yesterday is the best deal at $399. the 80GB is kind of pointless untill the 60GBS run out, but since the 60GBs still havent run out yet and the 40 is now out, whichever way you look at it, the price drop is a good deal.

The ps3 might have better graphics, I'll give you that one. But that same logitech steering wheel (that you linked to above) originally came out for the 360, did it not? I've actually been talking with a friend of mine about going in halves on it so we have a kick ass controller to use every friday (aka burrito and forza day, lol).

no, its been designed for the PC, but also works on the PS2 and PS3. No XBOX 360 support. problem with the Xbox 360 and racing wheel support is that the 360 has no native driver support for force feedback. Force feedback has to be built into the game. what happens now is that Microsoft make a Force feedback controller...but it only works on the 2 or 3 games that support force feedback, like Forza and PGR.
for all the other games, that wheels doesnt work properly. Logitech came out with a non Force Feedback wheel that works with everything, but it doesnt have Force Feedback which is a poo poo this day in age.
