I tapped into the cigarette lighter. Simple pos and neg tapping. Getting to it was a ***** though. I also installed the remote display at the same time, it's in front of the speedo so when I get an alarm I see my speed and the direction of the bogey. I will post pics, but can't find my charger for my camera.
