I don't think that any one of us can do anything about the gas prices.
Even if we start using less gas (which will never happen) they will just reduce production to keep the rates high. And if that doesn't work they will come up with some other stupid excuse like the war with Israel and Lebanon or because President Bush washed his butt twice instead of once.
It's all based on predictions and futures and other bullcrap.
At this stage the only way to get the prices reduced would be with Government intervention and for some reason that idiot in office doesn't want to intervene at this point. Perhaps it is because of kickbacks and other corruption or maybe the reason is that this guy is really to naive to even realize how up shit creek this situation is really getting.
