the most difficult part was routing the wires (one from battery + to switch and one from switch to fuse) around the firewall. it took awhile for me to figure out until i found a simple solution on this thread:

the thread is for a si sedan. i have an ex coupe, but the only difference is that the grommet on my car is not free. it's connected to this tube. it's all good though because i just routed the wires through the same hole on the car chassis around the grommet. good thing there was enough space for me to squeeze two 18 awg wires around it.

i followed the exact same setup as EntropyXIII, except for the resistor. also, all the wiring was done with 18 awg wires, which were the same as the wires for the drl. for my car, the right drl's power wire is white (see my pic in link), while the left power wire is red. the 1.3 ohm resistor i used (see my previous post) made the drl more dim than what they normally are. perhaps a 1.2 ohm would be more ideal (like EntropyXIII's) although they light up fine at night. make sure you mount the resistor on a metal surface because they can get hot in a hurry! i used metal wires to fasten the resistor on the metal chassis under the radiator cover just to the left of the hood latch (see my pics in link). i don't have and don't plan on installing fog lights, so i mounted my rocker switch where my fog light switch is supposed to go (see my pic in link). there's an easy to follow diy on how to do this:
